The best advice on how to be successful I’ve heard: On Nick Saban’s radio show, a young athlete asked him a bold question. What advice would the Alabama football coach give him – a basketball player – to improve in his sport? Saban’s response is gold: “I think for any athlete, it's the same thing. What's your goal? What's your aspiration? What do you want to accomplish? That's the first thing. “Second thing is to define what it takes to do it. What does it entail for you to be the kind of basketball player that you want to be? “Then you got to make the decision. Are you willing to do that? Are you willing to go work every day and do the things you need to do and take 500 shots a day like Kobe Bryant did so that you can be the kind of player that you want to be? “And then do you have enough discipline to make yourself do it every day? Whether you feel like it or not. “You got to choose to get up. You got to choose to study. You got to choose to go make the shots. You got to choose to work out. People that can do that, they can reach their full potential. “If you choose to make that kind of commitment to it, you can do the same thing, but it's not going to just come to you. It's not going to come easy. “And you're going to have to overcome a lot of adversity to be able to persevere and sustain it to get where you want to go.” – It’s a beautiful response for sports, business and life. Replace the young basketball player with yourself – investor, business owner, manager, teacher, whatever – and the same framework applies. Some key takeaways: 1. Everything begins with a vision. What do you want to achieve? 2. Vision alone isn’t enough. You need a detailed plan of how to achieve it. 3. Commitment separates those who dream from those who do. Most people aren’t willing to do what it takes. 4. Daily execution is the hardest (and most valuable) part. 5. Feelings are irrelevant. You can do what needs to be done despite how you feel. 6. One day of effort is overrated. Daily effort is underrated. 7. Improvement is a lifelong process. Embrace it, cherish it, commit to it. ||| Hope this is helpful. In 1965, Paul Harvey broadcasted “If I Were the Devil.” It is really amazing to realize over 58 years ago how accurately he “prophesied” the future spiritual condition of the United States. Many of his statements were considered ridiculously outlandish at that time in history. Yet, we find ourselves today experiencing what he predicted. 🔥🔥🔥 Thanks for the video @MaxEvansUMP

The most important answer any politician has ever given… ever

NFL Films did an amazing feature on #Dolphins HC Mike McDaniel. It's over 11 minutes long but worth the watch. All the ups and downs. Bookmark this if you don't have the time now. It's really good. t.co/iheIboBZy8

@amandacstein What are your thoughts on Akira making the opening day roster?

Favorite dinner table movie scene? I’ll start:

Warfare is unfair and is a struggle of ideas. America is in a GOoD v dEVIL spiritual struggle. Listen, reflect, understand, pray, then seek. And in seeking, find the light in your being that enables you to rise up. America, it’s no longer politics as usual. Instead, it’s time to realize that it is not simply our freedom that is at risk, it is the fabric of our faith in ourselves, each other, our country and ourselves. Keep the faith, but no more sitting on the sidelines. Time to speak out against the rise of tyranny. Evil exists & must be defeated Local Action = National Impact and PRAY 🙏🏼 🙏🏼🙏🏼🇺🇸

“Dallas has a really good defense. Good DBs, good DL, veteran LBs, really good safeties, but as a running back, I look at every defense like ‘you all got to come get me’. I’m not adjusting off of what they’re doing, they’ve got to come get me.”- Breece Hall Breece Hall about to break loose on Dallas 😤 #Jets | #TakeFlight

Today a-lot of youngsters wake up and don’t have to go to school for the first time in 16+ years … but new pressures slip in and they think now that they are an “adult” they need to have it all figured out … need alert 🚨 most 30,40,50 year olds don’t have it “figured out” take a deep breathe and relax and smile and enjoy this new chapter. Send this to a recent grad 👩🏽‍🎓 and or their parents :)
