@KobeissiLetter @KobeissiLetter 5 minutes to futures markets open this should be interesting potential for a gap down at open will Asia and London follow or will it be a buy with fridays 2.25% gain Monday should be interesting.

@KobeissiLetter This historic divergence is the AI productivity revolution in action—not just a market/economy disconnect. 1. Tech’s record 0.87 S&P ratio (+50% since 2022 lows) comes from hyperscalers swapping labor for AI capex, driving explosive efficiency and margins even as payrolls hit all-time lows (-342k jobs, 16 straight months of declines). 2. Employment data is backward-looking; markets price forward cash flows from automation. We saw similar “gaps” in the PC and internet eras—productivity eventually spilled over to the broader economy. Investors, as Q1 earnings is ending look to Q2 earnings for concrete AI revenue attribution as the real proof point. What’s your bet—productivity miracle or concentration risk? #AIProductivity #TechDivergence #MarketEfficiency

this is a strong move by amazon, they are already vertically integrated in many ways this is the next logical step. They are going to explode in the next couple of years with allo of the income streams especially AWS and the anthropic deal. Surprisingly they have trailed the market the last few years, which may lead to explosive growth over the next few years.

@KobeissiLetter This is posturing by Iran this weekend has been escalatory in nature. Curious to see how markets react tonight to all of the news this weekend and into the overnight. With all the data coming out next week will we continue this historic melt up or will the markets catch its breath next week?

@KobeissiLetter This week is going to be extremely volatile with all the data coming out, on top of that we still have earnings coming out. Last week was a huge week for the NASDAQ with Friday gaining 2.25% futures open should be interesting tonight with all the Iran tensions this weekend. Traders need to be patient and wait for the initial volatility to settle for the first hour let algorithmic trades happen and not get caught in liquid

@KobeissiLetter interesting — this is one for the history books. Couple things to point out: 1. Unlike the late-90s dot-com hype (mostly zero-earnings speculation), today’s leaders are generating massive free cash flow and delivering real AI-driven productivity gains. 2. Breadth is still narrow — the other 493 companies haven’t fully joined the party yet. Sustainable bull markets eventually need broader participation. 3. These ultra-rare 4-year double-digit streaks rarely end with a sudden crash; they often end with rotation or gradual multiple derating as rates/valuations reset. Investors: Time to stress-test your portfolio for concentration risk this week. Don't be others exit liquidity #SP500 #MarketHistory #AIInvesting

This is absolutely wild — and spot on. Just 5 names (GOOGL, NVDA, AMZN, AVGO, AAPL) driving ~50% of the entire S&P 500’s +12% rally since April while the equal-weight index limps along at just +6%. Classic narrow leadership on steroids. What makes it even more impressive? Today’s April jobs report just dropped and it’s outstanding: +115K nonfarm payrolls, crushing the ~62K consensus, with unemployment steady at 4.3%. The labor market is proving far more resilient than the doomsayers expected. Even with the ongoing US-Iran conflict creating oil swings and Strait of Hormuz headlines, equities are still pushing higher by nearly 1% today. Investors are clearly prioritizing strong US domestic fundamentals and the AI growth engine over geopolitical noise — betting on a soft landing where Big Tech keeps carrying the load. This level of concentration is historic… but it also screams risk if earnings momentum ever stutters. Breadth has been trying (and failing) to catch up for weeks. How much longer do you think this Mag-5 dominance lasts before we finally see real broadening? Are you staying all-in on the leaders or starting to rotate? "Wow, what a resilient day for the US economy! The April jobs report just crushed it nonfarm payrolls surged +115K, smashing expectations around 62K. Unemployment steady at 4.3%, with solid gains in health care, transportation, retail, and more. The labor market is showing serious staying power. Even with the ongoing US-Iran conflict creating geopolitical uncertainty oil price swings, Strait of Hormuz tensions, and all the headlines investors are clearly breathing easier. Equity markets are up 1% today as the strong jobs data reinforces a soft landing narrative: solid domestic growth without overheating, while hopes for a truce or de-escalation in the Middle East help ease broader risks. This balance of strong US fundamentals powering through global headwinds is exactly why stocks are rallying. Bullish setup heading into the rest of 2026! Who else sees this as a buying opportunity? Good Morning🚨 ADP just dropped a major beat — labor market is running hotter than expected! Actual: +109K Forecast: +84K Prior: +61K ✅ Good for the Economy: Strong hiring signals resilience and supports consumer spending. The U.S. economy still has legs. ⚠️ Challenging for Markets: A hotter-than-expected report increases the chance the Fed stays “higher for longer,” potentially delaying rate cuts. Mixed bag today: growth is solid but it may keep pressure on stocks and bonds. What’s your read? Bullish on the economy or worried about delayed cuts? @owm181525 @EricLDaugh That is if the escorts and ships continue to move thru the straight long term and not just a one day news event. You are right if the ships continue to move thru not necessarily a supply spike but more a “normalization”

Spot on this LNG collapse isn’t just a monthly blip, it’s exposing deep structural vulnerabilities in global energy. The Qatar plant destruction (removing roughly 10% of world supply for years) plus the ongoing Hormuz bottleneck is forcing Europe and Asia into a fierce bidding war for remaining cargoes, which will keep spot prices elevated and squeeze industrial margins hard. What do you see as the realistic ceiling for US LNG export ramp-up to fill even half this gap before 2028? Longer-term, the 2-year delay in the supply wave (and ~120 bcm cumulative shortfall) should accelerate policy shifts toward nuclear restarts and faster permitting for new US/European terminals—turning this crisis into a catalyst for genuine energy security rather than just higher prices. #LNG #EnergyCrisis #EnergySecurity

This is textbook sentiment whiplash: record -$11B QQQ outflows in March → +$10B in just 21 days. Two key points that stand out to me 1. These extreme inflow spikes have historically marked local tops the last few 3rd-largest 21-day inflows preceded consolidation or 5-10% pullbacks within weeks. Money is chasing after the move, not leading it. 2. It supercharges concentration risk $10B into QQQ is basically autopilot buying into the same 7 names (AAPL, MSFT, NVDA, etc.). Great while the AI narrative holds, but makes the entire Nasdaq extremely vulnerable to any rotation or single-stock disappointment. $673B YTD into US ETFs is massive liquidity fuel… until it isn’t. Classic “everyone back in the pool” moment What’s your take sustainable melt-up similar to last year or setup for the next rotation?

“Iran’s drone strike on Fujairah (the key Hormuz bypass hub) is spiking oil +3% today on fresh supply fears—while equities sell off hard on risk-off. Desperation move, but it’s reminding markets how fragile global energy flows really are.” How will this affect the rest of the week? What will be the discussion and sentiment for equities tomorrow morning after SoW statement ? Buckle up this week

@KobeissiLetter Spot on — this is a rare admission of limits on unilateral power projection. US needs China’s leverage: Beijing buys 90% of Iran’s seaborne crude and has repeatedly called for reopening the strait. Oil markets: Any credible China cooperation = rapid de-risking of the $20-30 geopol premium. Hormuz normally carries 21 mbpd (20%+ of global seaborne oil). Success here could flood physical supply fast, capping Brent near-term and targeting $85-95 zone as Project Freedom gains traction. Watch VLCC tanker flows and Iran’s response — headlines alone could trigger an initial crude selloff. Equities: Broadly bullish. Lower oil = reduced inflation pressure → easier Fed path and lower input costs for transport/industrials. Energy majors ($XOM, $CVX) and services face near-term headwinds on margin compression, while defense names stay mixed (op continues). Classic geopolitics overriding tariff friction short-term. Key risk: If China drags feet (or uses this for leverage), the premium sticks. Monitoring Chinese MFA statement and actual escort ops. Great catch." #OilMarkets #Geopolitics #EnergyCrisis

@KobeissiLetter this isn’t just spending, it’s the largest infrastructure arms race in history. The AI Revolution is now a capital-expenditure supercycle. Two equities-market implications: 1️⃣ Hyperscaler CapEx is a direct tailwind for semis, data-center REITs & power plays sustained demand through at least 2027. 2️⃣ Validates premium valuations for the Mag 7; the revenue inflection is coming faster than skeptics expect once utilization ramps. Don’t watch from the sidelines position in the AI infrastructure winners before the next earnings cycle reprices the upside. #AI #BigTech #Stocks
