The curfew is no longer in effect. It has been in place for the last 45 days to protect residents and secure neighborhoods devastated by the tornado - and we appreciate everyone’s patience and cooperation. Thank you to our @SLMPD officers for their countless hours of work.

City has $300m in unrestricted funds that it can spent however it wants and in the 3rd week post tornado we have residents still depending on donations of others for basic necessities to survive is bleak man. Very bleak. Was that money earmarked for campaign supports’ causes?

FEMA is not currently on the ground in St. Louis. We are actively working with state and federal authorities to get FEMA resources, but it could take weeks. In the meantime, please report any people claiming to be FEMA to the police. We will share more info as we learn more.

Our city cannot shoulder this alone. The state of Missouri cannot shoulder this alone. We need partners at the federal level to step up and help. This is what the federal government is for. We saw a tremendous amount of damage — estimates suggest over $1 billion so far.

@ABC Walmart spent $2.79 billion on stock buybacks in 2024 while crying about tariffs. Their CEO makes 976x more than the median employee ($27.4M vs. $27K). They have the money to help workers + customers. They just chose not to. That’s not survival. That’s greed.
