@AviationAll_ Big one for Bodh Gaya. Pilgrims from Thailand get another option, and Bihar travellers get a Bangkok break without routing via Kolkata or Delhi first.

@AviationAll_ Shows how much Kerala and coastal Karnataka travel runs through the Gulf. For anyone visiting family in Kozhikode or Kannur, flying straight into the smaller airport can beat a long road trip from Kochi or Bengaluru.

@SeanM1997 Esbjerg going for the winter will sting for the Aberdeen offshore crowd. If you fly Aberdeen to Belfast City, Birmingham or Manchester, book winter dates earlier than usual, fewer rotations tends to mean fewer good seats left near the day.

@SeanM1997 Shame, Orly is so much handier than CDG for getting into central Paris. Anyone eyeing an Edinburgh to Paris trip on this one should lock in dates before the 26 March cutoff.

@incredibleindia @IndiaAesthetica @KarnatakaWorld @tourismgoi Netravati Peak looks stunning in the mist. If you are planning a trip, Mangaluru and Bengaluru are the usual airports for Chikkamagaluru, and an early start gives you the best chance of seeing the valleys as the mist clears.

@visitlondon Brilliant way to spend a few hours in South London. Starting at Brixton Station makes it easy on the Victoria line, and finishing near Brixton Market means lunch is sorted.

@AviationAll_ If you used to fly Air India from Mumbai to Varanasi, Jodhpur or Coimbatore, worth checking your options again before booking winter trips. Fewer departures usually means fewer convenient times, so another carrier or a one-stop routing might suit better.

@AviationAll_ Nice chance to try the A380 on Delhi to Dubai before winter. Worth noting the one-off on 14 Oct is the daytime EK516/7, while the winter A380 is the midnight EK512/3, so pick the timing that suits your onward connection in Dubai.

@visitlondon Halloween at Kew is a lovely way to do an autumn evening in London. If you are visiting from outside the city, a weekday slot is likely to be calmer than a weekend, and Richmond is right there for dinner afterwards.

@HeathrowAirport Good reminder for half term trips. If it is your first time through the Entry/Exit System, build in extra time at the EU border and leave a bit more slack before onward trains or tight transfers.

@AviationAll_ Useful heads up if you are booking Delhi or Mumbai to Toronto, New York or Newark for winter. If these end up with a stop, total journey time can change, so check the schedule again before you lock in onward trains or connections.

@AviationAll_ Good news for anyone flying Mumbai to Heathrow this winter. Moving the old ex-Etihad 777 frequency onto the 787 fleet should mean a more modern cabin on both flights, so choosing comes down to timing more than aircraft luck.
