I am saddened to hear of the passing of Bob Wade. The former, oft acclaimed Mayor of Ancaster & the inaugural Mayor of the new city of Hamilton. A true gentleman & friend who managed to bring our communities together during the challenging time of amalgamation 24 years ago.

Council last term was clear - we want to apply every tool possible to end the practice of renovictions. This term of Council will see it through. While there are legitimate complications with provincial/municipal jurisdiction, I have full confidence in our @cityofhamilton staff
