Watching it every morning is the easy part. The hard part is the 23 hours after. That's where it either sticks or it was just content.

I have also been watching this every morning and it's life changing

Look at this slew of personal opinions here. This is why I keep saying—what you think of as truth is merely personal opinion. What is life? This question should be answered technically. As in, life is self–directed motion. Add a mathematical formula to it if anyone knows one.

What is life? • Dostoevsky: It’s hell. • Socrates: It’s a test. • Aristotle: It’s the mind. • Nietzsche: It’s power. • Freud: It’s death. • Marx: It’s the idea. • Picasso: It’s art. • Gandhi: It’s love. • Schopenhauer: It’s suffering. • Steve Jobs: It’s faith.

“Don't walk in front of me..I may not follow. Don't walk behind me.. I may not lead. Walk beside me.. just be my friend.” - Albert Camus Albert Camus (1913–1960) was a French-Algerian philosopher, novelist, and essayist known for exploring life’s meaning, loneliness, and the absurdity of human existence. Born in Algeria, he questioned how people could find purpose in a world filled with uncertainty, suffering, and death. Rather than avoiding life’s difficult realities, Camus encouraged people to confront them with honesty and courage. The famous quote often attributed to him, “Don’t walk in front of me; I may not follow. Don’t walk behind me; I may not lead. Just walk beside me and be my friend,” expresses a powerful message about love, friendship, and equality. Although its attribution to Camus is disputed, its meaning remains deeply moving. True companionship isn’t about one person leading while the other follows. It’s about two people standing beside each other, offering support without control or expectations. The beauty of this message lies in its simplicity. Life is unpredictable, and nobody has all the answers. But having someone who chooses to walk beside you makes the journey less lonely. Real love and friendship mean growing together, accepting each other’s imperfections, and facing life’s challenges as equals. Ultimately, the strongest relationships aren’t built on power or dependence, but on trust, understanding, and genuine connection. Sometimes, the greatest expression of love is simply having someone who stays by your side, allowing you to be completely yourself.

Go into every relationship trying to make the other person's life better first. If you're unselfish about it and you eventually get good at something, the value and the network arrive together.

@dailystoic Whatever the virtue is, I'm guessing it gets tested hardest at bedtime.

@Markmanson Grateful for the struggle is easy to say. Harder to mean at 6 AM. I spent years avoiding hard things. Now I pick a few on purpose. The meaning only showed up after I stopped running.

Follow this man. Great advice every day!

The fastest way to get ahead is to become obsessed with solving problems. Stop seeing obstacles as reasons to quit. Treat them as challenges that teach you valuable lessons. Every failed attempt gives you information that can make the next one better.

Half the people who ask me for advice just want their bias confirmed. That's fine. Just don't call it advice. Two ears, one mouth. The ones who sit through the hard part are the ones who grow.

It's not a coincidence that the people who are least capable of taking criticism happen to be struggling with self-confidence and self-esteem, and more generally, with most aspects of their lives. You can't grow if you take yourself too seriously and are blinded by your reactive

Most parents are working the wrong list. Kids won't remember the activity calendar. They'll remember whether the house felt calm. Get your own house in order first. Peterson's "clean your room," family edition.

One of the best gifts that your kids can receive is to simply be able to grow up around parents who have their health, their finances, and their marriage in order.

Discipline isn't a mood. It's what's left when the mood leaves. Train like the bad day is already on the calendar.

@Markmanson Pain and the mother-in-law run on the same rule: the visit is happening either way. You only choose whether you spend it bracing or learning something. I spent years dodging the hard stuff. It just waited on the porch.

@PhilosophyMttrs Amusement fills time. Purpose spends it. Easy tell: a night of scrolling leaves me worse. An hour of hard work, or hard play with my kids, leaves me better. Aristotle figured that out 2,300 years ago.

@edgaralandough The apology you owe is the heaviest one on that list. Took me years to learn that 'I was wrong' is a 30-second sentence, and not saying it can cost you a whole year. Close that loop first.

@Kpaxs Same at home. You can clean up the same mess every night, or spend one weekend fixing the system that makes it. The fix is invisible. That's how you know it worked. Nobody claps for a problem that stopped existing.

@george__mack Most of us didn't stop reading. We started scrolling and called it reading. Phone in another room, 20 pages a night. Boring fix. Works. The fire comes back once you stop feeding it junk.

@Codie_Sanchez Enemies only hit what you show them. The people who love you already know where the soft spots are. That's not a reason to close up. It's a reason to be careful who gets the map.

@dailystoic Easiest test I know: what would the best version of me do in the next 10 minutes? Not this year. The next 10 minutes. The ideal person doesn't exist. The next right move does.

Before the gym, I don’t feel like going. After the gym, best decision I made all day. An everyday battle.
