Fun fact: Ever wondered why it's called The Iliad? Because Ilium was another name for Troy, and the -ad suffix was used to mean "The Story of." This means that, if you translated the title, The Iliad should actually be called Troy Story.

Totally agree👍🏼Love that you said educators not just teachers-this is the kind of language all people who work with children should be using

It's the #FirstDayOfSchool! ✏️ Here are some whole classroom strategies educators can use to address anxiety: 🔹 Teach kids about their brains 🔹 Normalize anxiety and teach about its benefits 🔹 Frame mistakes as a natural part of learning

Hey if you’re stuck in the traffic at #lakeside remember to turn off your engine while you wait (if you’re able to). Idling is really bad for your air quality, although appreciate it may be the least of your concerns right now!

Hey @mearsgroup one of your drivers has parked really inconsiderately and blocked me in, and I need to take my baby to the GP. Not representing your brand very well

@Blonde_Vision Not being left to get hungry is a big one! Or at least being forewarned if I should eat before.

You know, when I said I wanted the real world to be more like Harry Potter I just meant the teleportation and the magic stuff, not the entire plot of book 5 where the government refuses to do anything about a deadly threat so the teenagers have to rise up and fight back.

Boo @johnlewisretail why are most of your gifts for a ‘multi-tasking new mum’ actually items for the baby? Mamas are actual people too!l If my husband got me a six pack of sleepsuits for Mother’s Day he’d be in the doghouse....big time johnlewis.com/browse/baby-ch…

Last night a man at the pub asked me out, I told him I was flattered but extremely gay, then he started to explain why he voted no and I interrupted saying "SUCKED IN WE WON" and went on with my gay life not worrying about needing to change his mind :')
