The average Mag 7 member is down 25% from its 52-week high versus 19% for all $SPX constituents. At a 30% index weighting, YTD the Mag 7 has accounted for 96% of the $SPX decline.

Earnings start up soon and now that tariff talk should dwindle down after today. Markets may start a rally if earnings are good. As for today I believe in the sell the rumor and buy the news effect and think once tariffs are implemented we may rally back up

Its funny how the market forgets what it has done. One week it drops non stop , the next it rally the same way. The following week it drops every day and then the next its up everyday. I still like the market long and think we may have seen the bottom.

Its encouraging news for the bulls after the market open lowered this morning and has been rallying since. The run up after the FOMC meeting may be more than just a one day pop. Overall this has been a nice week so far and maybe the market has forgotten the tariff worries

Even though Fridays selloff felt like the end of the world, the market is still strong and uptrending. The late morning bounce back is encouraging for the longs. so hopefully the market shrugs it off. A lot of the stocks that fell big needed a healthy pullback

The SPX is sitting awfully close to all time highs, after a decent week and has a good chance at a break out. Its been consolidating since early Nov. and hasn't had a break out of previous highs since then. Both the RSI and Stochastics are not indicating an overbought market

I do think the market is near a breakout level without being overbought & has room to rally substantially if it does. The S&P has gone sideways for 3 months, since day after the election, so can easily go up another 5% once it does move. it just need to go above the recent high

After a choppy post Fed move in the market. The focus will move back to earnings. Which continue to shine. I expect the market to rebound & continue it's upmove, with the stocks that took a beating earlier in week rebounding the most.

Why stop at 2 wild days. Though today my start off dull, expect a huge move after Fed meeting. Last time Fed met the market plummeted, we may see that again, unless there is a dovish outlook. However next 2 days have earnings of market moving stocks so it's a crap shoot

Earning have started off with a bang so I will expect that trend will continue and recommend diagonal spreads or put spreads to take advantage of the up moves.

I've been traveling around northern Africa and Europe the last month and am finally home. After a rough year end, the market has been strong recently and until i hear some tariff news I believe we will keep going up and make new highs fairly soon.

After last week's strong Nasdaq rally. I think we may get a rotation into the small caps. Some stocks and not just tech stocks have been going up too much and are way out of whack, needing to pull back a bit. I prefer they do so now before the results are even more magnified.

Looks like the Mag 7 stocks are poised to make an end of year rally, They have been mostly flat to slight down the last few months, and now need to make a comeback as they are in so many funds, that hedge fund and portfolio managers need to make their holdings not look to bad.

Was looking at what Nvda has done after earnings the last 2 years & it only had two big moves during that time, the other times it has been flat with a downward basis even though they keep growing and beating estimates. I guess traders aren't impressed with a massive quarter.

I feel like todays big move in #Nvda is due to FOMO as traders don't want to miss another big move up if responds well to earnings. And yes it could sell off, but I think that would only be temporary as traders would jump in to buy it cheaper.

From the day before the 2016 Election through YE, the last time President Trump won, S&P +5% led by R2K +14%, +17% Fins, +8% Industrials, +9% Energy. InfoTech lagged up +2% vs +10% YTD till 11/7/16 vs S&P +4%. This reinforces my belief that the market will continue to broaden…

I think market will have strong rally thru Thur when the #Fed could change everything. but as far as the election goes. though I think #Trump wins which will be a market catalyst at the very least the Senate will turn red and that will help, especially if house goes blue.

You don't get a bigger week of earnings as this one week. I am still amazed at Tesla's giant move post earning. If the other big stocks follow you will see a massive week, especially if Trump keep leading in the Polls. I think the recent melt up is due to him being the favorite.

I haven't posted in a few weeks as I recovered from a heart valve repair surgery and have spent less time looking at markets, but i feel good again so will start up again, just in time for the election.
