I wish @Apple and others would offer a slow ship option. I've got a custom Mac on the way. Just left Shenzhen. Will be on my desk Thursday morning. Madness, caused by the tight integration of Apple kit (16GB rather 8GB memory means it comes from China rather being held in stock)

Hey @TheRegister are you aware of this huge change to Oracle Java licensing. Switch from Processers/Users to Employees. Oh and employees includes all, including those at third parties, not just those who use Java. Multi-million dollar impact for large firms.

Space may be hard, but clearly NASA think Oracle licensing is harder. Just like us, they're not alone - this lack of focus on SAM is pretty endemic across US Federal agencies. There's also a strong alignment with tech/engineer-led startups elsewhere. Admin rights still important.
