Teaching the parallelogram today, I asked students to define each shape and ID properties. We got to square and for the definition I asked for two words (regular quadrilateral). My favorite responses - "simple quadrilateral" and "rectangle rhombus". ❤️ed it. #mtbos

Online or offline, if you want to push someone's learning, there has to be a relationship present. When people feel valued, they are more likely to grow than if they feel the opposite. It is okay to push, even beneficial, but growth happens best through a feeling of support.
