@Tyler_McV For coop gaming with my wife. I already have a powerful PC for myself and the Deck is currently our living room PC. The Steam Machine will be an upgrade for all our use cases. Also I don't want to build a mini PC like that for myself as I'm busy with other things in life.

@veryvirology @kenwheeler Until AI starts being able to attend every meeting, every side conversation where knowledge is shared, and is able to keep the context of many code bases that are intermingled in non-obvious ways we won't get there. I'm not saying it won't be possible, but we are nowhere close.

@TidyWire @RyGuyHii @rokobasili They use AI because it gives them new ways to explore ideas that are not possible with traditional methods. Why ignore a useful tool? If you have access to something which may inspire new creations then you are doing yourself a disservice by not using that tool.

@oncloud_e They are not using AI output, they are using AI for concepts, essentially mood boards for inspiration and testing alternate ideas. If you are upset about this then you should be upset that artists use any references when creating anything.

@ABAOProductions @vicinmyvinegar It isn't just "prompt for a thing" anymore. The new thing is creating workflows using various AI toolchains. Things like ComfyUI are making actually cool stuff like your OP, instead of just one-shot generated slop.
