@ClarkeMicah @BruvverEccles The ‘True church’ is the Catholic and Orthodox churches. They are also flawed institutions filled with sinners. The Anglican Church is not a ‘branch of the tree’ because it denies key tenets of the historic faith. It is however equally endowed with sinners.

@ClarkeMicah @TimothyNerozzi He obviously wasn’t ’Roman Catholic’. He was probably the first Anglo Catholic. Which is why some of the wilder AC sects claim the Anglican Church was always intended to be Catholic. But they wouldn’t say ‘Roman Catholic’ because that obviously means in communion with Rome.
