Why is everyone so obsessed with #ratecuts pumping their bags? In Dec 2000 to Dec 2003 #FRED cut rates from 6.5% to about 1.25%. $SPX tanks 50% in the same period. June 2007 to Feb 2009 Fed rate cuts from 5.2% to 0.22%, during same period $SPX tanks 50%. Different this time or?
