People need to stop calling Choosin Texas pop country. There is nothing pop about that song. It’s a straight up country song that got popular as hell. That’s why these people are losing their small little minds! They have never heard an actual country song in their lives.

Isn’t it weird how unsubsidized consumer goods like TVs, appliances, clothes, all get cheaper and cheaper…while anything government puts its hands on, healthcare, housing, food, tuition, cars, utilities…just gets more and more unaffordable? Oh well. Probably nothing.

Rain makes grain is one of the bigger fallacies in ag. If you’re in the desert then yes. If you’re in I states the drier the year the bigger the crop, the wetter the year the smaller a crop.

The key to living in Chicago is when the weathers nice, enjoy it. No matter what’s going on. No matter what day it is. Enjoy that shit.

Had someone tell me once that conventional farmers don't care about the land. I asked him how long his family had farmed it. He didn't farm. The ground we're on has been in rotation for 6 generations. We don't care about the topsoil? We're going to be in that dirt long after the critics have moved on to the next cause.
