Wah 👏 When it’s a real time to buy, They say stop buying and when it was actually a concern she says “FII’s and FPI’s may come and go, Indian retailers are shock absorbers. 😂😂👍

Your SIP may be helping FIIs exit India. FM Nirmala Sitharaman says excess liquidity is contributing to India’s market underperformance.🤦 In Sep: ✅SIP inflow: ₹32,490 cr ✅Equity MF inflow: ₹38,307 cr So please, stop buying every dip. 😭 You’re giving FIIs an easy exit.

“India has burned half its forex reserves” is a misleading claim. Half of what, exactly? 1. Reuters reported that the RBI deployed roughly half of the $140 billion mobilised through special measures—not half of India’s total reserves. 2. RBI figures released on 16 October put total reserves at $726.03 billion for the week ended 9 October. Against the September peak of $785.71 billion, that is a decline of about 7.6%. Not 50%. 3. India’s Finance Ministry reported 11.1 months of import cover as of 18 September 2026, backed by $765.9 billion in reserves. That is a dated official figure—not an updated calculation using October’s lower reserves. For context, three months of imports is a traditional reserve-adequacy benchmark discussed by the IMF. It is not a universal safety guarantee: external debt, capital outflows and forward obligations also matter. Yes, the RBI’s reported roughly $200 billion net forward-dollar liabilities deserve scrutiny. Gross reserves alone do not tell the whole story. But “reserves are about to go empty” requires evidence of the depletion rate, upcoming obligations and financing needs. Your post does not establish that. Currency pressure is real. Your “half the reserves” headline uses the wrong denominator. 🚨 Indian foreign reserves are about to go empty. India has already burned half of its fx capital to defend the rupee. And despite spending billions, the rupee is still trading near ₹97 against the U.S. dollar. According to estimates from bankers, the RBI has used around

NIFTY MIDDAY REVIEW | 16 OCTOBER 2026 IT LEADS, WHILE BROADER PARTICIPATION LAGS Verified snapshot at 10:30 AM IST: • NIFTY: 23,140.75 (+0.62%) • SENSEX: 74,744.79 (+0.58%) • IT index: approximately +3% • 11 of 16 major sectors positive • Mid-cap and small-cap indices: broadly flat These are morning figures, not live midday quotes. Quarterly earnings supported IT shares, but the broader market did not match the headline index’s gains. This illustrates an important concept: sector strength and overall market strength measure different things. An index gives larger companies greater influence according to its weighting methodology. Breadth measures how widely a move is shared across stocks. A rising index with flat smaller-company indices suggests uneven participation. It does not, by itself, establish that the rally will fail—or that the entire market has recovered. For the afternoon review, three useful questions are: • Are more stocks joining the advance? • Is leadership spreading across sectors? • Are the morning gains being retained? Also, rising prices alone cannot tell us whether FIIs are buying or whether shorts are being covered. Those explanations require separate positioning and flow evidence. The educational takeaway: assess the size of a market move alongside the number and types of companies participating. Educational commentary. Not investment advice.

NIFTY PRE-MARKET PLAN | 16 OCTOBER 2026 Yesterday produced India’s strongest single-day NIFTY gain in four months: • NIFTY: 22,997.35, up 1.66% • SENSEX: 74,315.61, up 2.11% • FII cash selling: −₹5,285 crore • DII cash buying: +₹3,319 crore The important lesson: NIFTY gained 375 points even though FIIs sold more shares than DIIs bought. Institutional cash data is useful, but it is not a standalone directional signal. The index can rise when heavyweight stocks receive concentrated buying, traders cover short positions or other investor categories provide demand. IT, private banks and Reliance drove yesterday’s rally. However, mid-caps and small-caps remained weak, and declining stocks outnumbered advancing stocks. That means the headline recovery was strong, but participation across the entire market was less convincing. TODAY’S CUES • GIFT NIFTY: around 23,103, indicating a positive opening • US markets: modestly positive overnight • US 10-year yield: around 5.09%, lower after safe-haven buying • Brent crude: around $105–106, still a major risk for India • FIIs have sold approximately ₹10,157 crore over the latest seven sessions SEBI has also withdrawn its plan to use a separate closing auction for derivatives-expiry settlement. The expiry price will continue to use the volume-weighted average price from the final 30 minutes of regular trading. TODAY’S FRAMEWORK • Sustaining above 23,000 after the opening pullback: buyers retain control • Acceptance above 23,100 with improving mid-cap and small-cap breadth: recovery may extend towards 23,180–23,250 • Rejection around 23,100 followed by a fall below 23,000: possible profit-booking after yesterday’s sharp rally • Sustained below 22,900: yesterday’s breakout begins to weaken TODAY’S LESSON A 375-point rally confirms strong price momentum. It does not automatically confirm a complete trend reversal. For a healthier recovery, watch for: 1. NIFTY holding above the breakout zone 2. Broader participation beyond a few heavyweights 3. Reduced FII selling over several sessions 4. Lower crude and stable bond yields A positive GIFT NIFTY indicates the likely opening. Price acceptance after the opening determines whether the move survives. Educational view. Not financial advice.

‼️🚨THE AI RESET MAY BE CLOSER THAN WE THINK🚨‼️ The concern is no longer whether AI will affect employment. It is how quickly companies will discover that one AI-enabled employee can perform work previously requiring an entire team. Anthropic’s latest economic research presents an extreme 2030 scenario in which AI performs nearly one-third of economic work, white-collar employment falls by more than 20%, and labour’s share of income drops from 60% to 45%. The ILO also identifies business, finance, computing and education among the most AI-exposed fields. My concern is that we may have only 6–18 months before the employment model begins changing radically—not that every job disappears overnight, but that mass hiring starts breaking. Entry-level developers, analysts, writers, customer support, administration, operations and routine finance or legal work could be compressed first. Physical, regulated and accountability-heavy roles may survive longer—but far fewer people may be needed across the wider economy. My market thesis is even darker: A transition this large rarely happens peacefully. War, recession, an American debt or dollar crisis, de-dollarisation, or an AI-investment collapse could become the trigger—or the public explanation—for a global economic reset. That does not mean someone has deliberately planned a “scapegoat.” It means an already fragile financial system may use the next major shock as its reset button. If that happens, almost every stock market could reprice violently. Even today’s fashionable AI stocks may crash first if their valuations and spending cannot produce real returns. The eventual winners will not be companies merely adding “AI” to their names. They will be businesses with real revenue, proprietary technology or data, access to compute and energy, strong distribution, and AI-native operations requiring a minimal human workforce. AI may make the economy dramatically more productive while transferring income and power from workers to owners of capital. The technology is arriving faster than governments, education systems and society can adapt. This is not a guaranteed prediction. It is my six-to-eighteen-month risk thesis—and I believe the preparation window is closing. Research: anthropic.com/research/labor… axios.com/2026/09/09/ai-… ilo.org/resource/news/… Not financial advice.
