The power of low-carb nutrition. All medications for diabetes and hypertension pulled off by her Dr. She is only on metformin now. This client from coimbatore comes from a family of medical doctors and she went for low-carb against their advice. Now she will reap the benefits 😃😃😃😃

Diwali is approaching. Don't indulge into too many sweets if you have diabetes. I know it's a big festival and many will want to have some.. but mind the portion and alternatively prepare sweets using Stevia, Monk fruit extract & Allulose. Be truthful to your self and avoid too many servings.

Dark ages of diabetes nutrition. We now have blood sugar meter, CGMs and easy lab works. We can find the truth about how the foods they recommend impacts the blood sugar levels.

The kind of food you eat has a great impact on your blood sugar levels. It's that way for everyone, but if you have diabetes, you probably know it better than anyone. When you eat calories you don't need, especially carbohydrates (carbs), your blood sugar levels rise. Over time,

Makhana (fox nut) is often called a high-protein snack. & recommended for diabetes. You’ll often see about 9 g protein / 100 g. But who eats 100 g of makhana in one sitting? A more realistic snack portion is around 25–30 g. That gives you only about 2.5–3 g protein, along with roughly 19–25 g carbs. Makhana is mostly starch & those carbs can spike blood glucose if one has diabetes. So, “high protein” & “best for diabetes” are misleading claims. Check the portion, count the carbs and see how your own glucose responds. Use a CGM to track.

A big thank you to everyone on X. As many as 27 people, including some drs, sent me DMs to express their support. Many others who had my number - reached out to me on WhatsApp as well. Thank you all once again. I truly appreciate your support.

SUCCESS STORY: BETTER DIABETES CONTROL, FEWER MEDICATIONS & IMPROVED ENERGY IN LESS THAN 2 MONTHS! Mr. AJ Age 51, fro, Dubai approached me with an HbA1c of 7.3%, despite being on multiple diabetes medications. He enrolled in Aug 2026 end, and we introduced an individualised low-carbohydrate lifestyle suited to his needs. In less than two months, his latest reports show encouraging improvements! August → October 2026 ✅ HbA1c: 7.3% → 6.4% ✅ Serum Creatinine: 1.07 → 0.97 mg/dL ✅ eGFR: 83 → 94 mL/min/1.73 m² ✅ Weight Loss: 2 kg & inch loss ✅ Better Energy: Feeling more energetic throughout the day ✅ Improved Outlook: More confident, positive and optimistic about his health And His Diabetes Medication Has Been Reduced! Earlier, he was taking: Sitagliptin + Metformin, twice daily Glimepiride 1 mg, once daily His doctor has now discontinued glimepiride, while his other diabetes medications continue. His kidney function markers have also moved in a favourable direction, although both his earlier and current eGFR values were within a generally reassuring range. An HbA1c reduction from 7.3% to 6.4% in less than two months, alongside a reduction in medication, is a promising beginning. There is still progress to be made, and sustained results will be important. Congratulations to Mr. AJ on his commitment + progress. Looking forward to even better results in the coming months! - Metabolic Health India® Individual results vary. Shared for education and awareness. Diabetes medications should only be adjusted under medical supervision.

SUCCESS STORY - IMPROVEMENTS IN DIABETES, KIDNEY MARKERS, LIVER ENZYMES & BLOOD PRESSURE IN JUST 2.5 MONTHS! Mr. PP - Age 47 - enrolled in my metabolic health coaching programme in August 2026 with two important concerns. He wanted to improve his diabetes control, reduce his dependence on medications & address his rising serum creatinine. We started an individualised low-carbohydrate lifestyle, and in approximately 2.5 months, the results have been very encouraging! June → October 2026 ✅ HbA1c: 6.6% → 5.9% ✅ Serum creatinine: 1.35 → 1.11 mg/dL ✅ eGFR: 62 → 79 mL/min/1.73 m² ✅ ALT (SGPT): 33.2 → 18.1 U/L ✅ AST (SGOT): 33.2 → 19.3 U/L ✅ GGT: 23.1 → 19.6 U/L ✅ Blood pressure: Earlier around 130–140/90s, now approximately 105/65 mmHg, without any BP medication! Diabetes Medications Reduced. His treating doctor has reduced his glimepiride from 1 mg twice daily to just 0.5 mg once daily, a 75% reduction in the daily dose. Metformin and Jalra DP continue as prescribed. The Benefits Go Beyond Laboratory Reports: ✅ Approximately 4 kg weight loss ✅ Noticeable inch loss ✅ Better energy throughout the day ✅ More optimistic and confident about his health There is still work to be done, but this is a promising beginning. Congratulations to Mr. PP on his commitment and progress! - Metabolic Health India® Individual results vary. Shared for education and awareness, not as medical advice. Medication adjustments should always be made under medical supervision.

SUCCESS STORY - AFTER NEARLY 2.5 DECADES OF DIABETES, BOTH ARE NOW OFF INSULIN! This is a particularly satisfying success story from Muscat, Oman. A couple who have been living with type 2 diabetes for 2.5 decades enrolled in my metabolic health coaching programme in April 2026. Thanks Dr Narayan for the referral. @mendbones Both were on multiple diabetes medications, including daily insulin injections, despite which they wanted to improve their metabolic health and reduce their dependence on medication. An additional challenge? Both are strict vegetarians who do not consume eggs either. We started an individualised vegetarian low-carb approach, adapted to their food preferences, lifestyle and medical needs. Around six months later, the results have been extremely encouraging! Mrs. KR ✅ Tresiba insulin 34 units daily → Stopped ✅Glimepiride 3 mg twice daily replaced with Diamicron 60 mg once daily ✅ Metformin regimen modified, with Xigduo introduced ✅ Rybelsus continues Mrs. RR ✅ Tresiba insulin 40 units daily → Stopped ✅ Diamicron 60 mg twice daily discontinued ✅ Metformin regimen reduced and modified, with Xigduo introduced ✅ Rybelsus continues All medication changes were made by their treating doctors. But the improvements go beyond medications! ✅ Both have lost close to 10 kg each ✅ Much better energy throughout the day ✅ Greater optimism and a more positive outlook towards life And most importantly, both are thrilled to be free from daily insulin injections after so many years of living with diabetes. After nearly three decades of diabetes, they are making encouraging progress. There is still work to be done, but what a difference six months can make! They have extended the program so it’s a work in progress. More to come. - Metabolic Health India® Individual results vary. This success story is shared for education and awareness, not as medical advice. Diabetes medications, particularly insulin and sulfonylureas, must only be adjusted under medical supervision.

There is no bigger satisfaction than seeing ones detractors ranting like being bitten by a mad dog.

I watched Healing Humanity: The Power of a Proper Human Diet, and it really moved me. Through powerful personal stories, it shows how choosing real food can support healing and change lives. I urge everyone to watch this documentary. It’s an important information about food, health and hope. Congratulations & compliments to the makers Kerry Mann Adam Lacy Lynn Divoky & the team @heartnurseLynn Keep making such great real life stories into such documentaries.

Love this experiment. I'm in my 12th year of pill-free type 2 remission, and the breakfasts that keep my CGM flat are eggs, paneer and coffee with coconut cream. Would be great to see how poha or upma compare with a protein-first plate on your graph. But this also depends on if you are insulin resistant or metabolically healthy

In less than 1 month this client's medications were lowered by his doctor Type 2 diabetes for >2 decades. He had come in with an Hba1c of 10 His medications when he contacted me: Gliclazide XR 60mg *2 Empa + Lina 1 tab daily Low-carb foods helped him lower his daily blood sugars. The sulphonylurea drug - Gliclazide - Diamicron 60*2 was discontinued by his doctor. His Medications now: Metformin 1000mg Empa + Lina 1 tab daily His home numbers with a blood sugar meter & a CGM are in the normal range. FBS around 98 - 110 mg/dl PPBS around 120-140 mg/dl This is a work in progress. We can clearly see the power of lowering carbohydrates in daily diet if you have diabetes. -Metabolic Health India

This is what my glucose looks like in my 12th year of low-carb eating & type 2 diabetes remission. Diabetes is NOT a chronic progressive disease as they say it.. at least for me.

Why I’m in my 12th year of low-carb eating for type 2 diabetes remission I knew that many people start with 1 tablet & over time may move on to multiple medications & possibly insulin. Having worked in pharma sales in diabetes & CVD therapies, I knew that medications will get escalated over time. This motivated me to adopt low-carb lifestyle for lifetime. It wasn’t easy. I was surrounded by a grain-centred food culture & people who believed grains were essential for survival. But I began eating foods I hadn’t included regularly before - ie: protein-rich foods such as eggs, paneer & yoghurt. These replaced grains as the mainstay of my meals & I never looked back. In 2015 my HbA1c fell from 7.2% at diagnosis to 5.2% in three months. The journey continues. Here I am, in my 12th year of low-carb lifestyle & medication-free remission from type 2 diabetes. - Metabolic Health India

@REV_Insulin_Res Sourdough may lower gluten a bit I find that It spikes blood sugar similar to the usual bread But saying it has probiotics is too much
