Tweets (and by extension beliefs) like this are why the rule of law and civil rights need to be upheld, regardless of how horrible a crime is. All people deserve trials and investigations because if you don't, innocent people like this man could have been lynched.

Citizenship is required for governance at all federal levels, it is required for voting, and a whole plethora of jobs are open only to citizens because you need citizenship for the clearance level of the job. There are plenty of perks and no real downsides to citizenship.
