So Gohlke takes 1k 3 pointers a day. Went from a D2 to a mid-major. Doesn’t even start. And some kids just show up for practice with a D1 or bust mentality. Some people want it, some people kind of want it.
I wish more athlete’s parents were like this gentleman! Not listening to it all! No excuses! No babying! I’m sure he brought that energy to raising her and that’s part of the reason she is the DAWG she is!

Had the honor of speaking with Holocaust survivor Renee Fink today! I use her story every year in the classroom so to be able to speak with her was incredibly moving and valuable as a teacher! As she said “We don’t have to love each other, but couldn’t we just like each other?”

We had a visitor today! One of my students from last year brought in artifacts that her dad has collected and presented about them to my class. A valuable hands-on presentation during #BlackHistoryMonth and a call to continue to be better!

Banning smartphones in schools is good for learning and well-being. New study of 400+ middle schools in Norway: after smartphone bans, girls had fewer mental health issues & better grades. Boys and girls were less likely to be bullied. Smartphones belong at home or in lockers.
