Preparing my Calculator Revision Resources for next week's mock part 2. These are the frequencies in the last five years of topics coming up on calculator papers. Doing a percentage change and solving equations is integrated throughout so doesn't have its own place.

We have a moral responsibility to students when allocating grades- if we over-inflate, they will struggle at the next stage. This does no one any favours, least of all the student.

SCIENCE PEOPLE!!! There are now banks of questions for the whole of AQA GCSE free and available on @Carousel_Learn's community page. This means you can set your students flashcards and quizzes on any topic within seconds - it's a no-brainer to my mind. Please share and RT!

There is no reason to call a press conference at 4, then change it to 5 and keep delaying. Arrange it for 8pm in the first place and give yourself time. Otherwise (if possible) you make yourself look even more incompetent 🙄

I don’t believe the majority of centres acted with anything other than integrity when working out GCSE grades. If grades were massively inflated, the students would be hugely disadvantaged- being accepted on to unsuitable A-level courses, potentially harming them more.
