@GarethJennings3 I was attached to a NATO Special Operations unit in Afghanistan, and the Italians ran an outpost in Herat. I kid you not, they had a coffee shop and pizza restaurant that looked like it was transported straight from Italy. Still some of the best coffee and pizza I've ever had.
