Been looking at the most expensive real-life film stunts ever. Here are 9 wild ones. 1. MATRIX RELOADED (2003) For this chase sequence, a fake highway was built at a dis-used naval base in California. The 1.3 mile loop highway cost $2.5m and was fenced by a 19ft wall.
The vicious, unjustified beating of Tyre Nichols and his ultimate death at the hands of five Memphis police officers is just the latest, painful reminder of how far America still has to go in fixing how we police our streets.
key stats to help you prepare for the onslaught of gaslighting by australia's fossil fuel sector. • 86% of our coal is exported • 75% of our gas is exported the price caps will allow them to continue #WarProfiteering on exports, and still extract healthy profits domestically.
To my British wife and kids, best story about her Majesty ever. What an incredible sense of humour. Enjoy 😀
If an ex-PM breaks the constitution by having secretly given himself several Minister roles, and without the real Ministers knowing, is it possible he’ll lose his big fat parly pension? Asking for a friend #auspol thoughts & 🙏
I’m quite serious about this. Secretly, Morrison has driven a garbage truck through the constitution, through parliamentary democracy, and the principle of cabinet collective responsibility. It reeks of dictatorship.
Mid-winter, when the Labor cabinet has settled down to work, I'd like to see @AlboMP deliver a "state of the nation" address. Nothing grand and formal, just a talk to the people about where we are and where we're going. Maybe RT if you agree ?
Tanya Plibersek apologises ‘unreservedly’ for comparing Peter Dutton to Voldemort. #auspol theguardian.com/australia-news…
@Peter_Fitz Warringah (Seaforth primary polling station) Zali Steggall volunteers out number ALL other candidates 20:1. The signage is at least 50:1. I checked if it was recyclable.
@blahblahellis Damn you! Now I got it stuck too!
Sad to see Deputy Sheriff Barns swerve on Insiders on Sunday. He could have provided deep background to the Psycho-gate affair. The Hat & Star could have unpacked the techniques used to reveal him as the prime suspect. He is a crime fighter who understands beef. #auspol
"No piece of art has ever emotionally affected me the way this robot arm piece has. It's programmed to try to contain the hydraulic fluid that’s constantly leaking out and required to keep itself running...
‘Mr @DjokerNole We wish you well & are pleased you are free after 4 days although we are imprisoned more than 3,000. Please tell the world about us. And Aust and international media, keep asking questions, it is our only hope.’ Mohammed Joy Refugee 9 yrs detained. #Djokovic
One year ago, a violent attack on our Capitol made it clear just how fragile the American experiment in democracy really is. Here’s my statement on what the anniversary means, and what we need to do today.
Aust. Deputy PM tests Positive for Covid, now our hope and prayers are that he'll test positive for Climate change and stop destroying the planet. abc.net.au/news/2021-12-0…

Do Porkies count as Lies? 🤔
Scott Morrison says he doesn’t believe he’s told a lie in public life | @anguslivingston smh.com.au/politics/feder…
‼️Please share ⬇️ widely. It is appalling that the Australian pavilion at @COP26 is sponsored by oil & gas Santos & Australian bushfire survivors are not welcome‼️A new low for @ScottMorrisonMP & @AngusTaylorMP. This is beyond wrong. 🌏 #auspol #climate #integrity #racetozero
Vale Bert Newton. A legend and mentor. I had the pleasure of working with Bert many times over the years, Bert would always go out of his way to chat and joke with every crew member too. The world needs more good guys like you Bert. abc.net.au/news/2021-10-3…
