Last night around 12am @ mi 257, Jeremy decided to end his run. He says he felt great all day and then hit a wall this evening and couldn’t function well enough to safely continue. His family & friends picked him up and he was in great spirits, all things considered.

Jeremy is still trekking along! Physically he is great, but mental fatigue has set in. The shoe rip has worsened and is causing blisters, but he has rigged it up with a rope contraption to keep him going. He has finished off around 180 miles. #fkt #vtlongtrail #theplaybrigade

Update from Day 2! Last night, Jeremy was trekking along the Long Trail hoping for an 11:00 pm stop at the 90-mi mark. He had successfully crossed over Mount Mansfield-major hurdle-and made his way over Bolton. It was a tough day, but he powered through! playbrigade.com/challenge
