It must be pre season as seeing loads of clubs advertising for physio/therapists. Same every season, there isn't a shortage just our time is just as valuable as your players 👍

It's that time of year where I have to go through all my pitch side kit and make sure it's still good to go, new trauma kit replen needed. On the plus side found 2 boxes of tiger tape that I didn't even know I had, every cloud as they say 😂😂😂

Being first aid qualified doesn't make you a physio or therapist. I see this all the time in local football🤦😡😡

Having a good sort out this morning, I hadn't realised I had amassed so much equipment. About 4 large boxes of assorted supplies and treatment equipment, for some reason 3 run on bags, 2 more boxes of hurdles, ladders cones and 2 bags of assorted size footballs. 🤷🤦😂😂😂

If you haven't done a physio degree you're not a physio, likewise for a sports therapist. If you have just done an FA med course then it's fine to say you're pitchside first aid cover, but watching a few YouTube videos on taping and strapping doesn't make a physio. Just saying👍

Love this question, it's something I've asked myself many times. There is only so much "Rehab" an athlete can do. We can support healing, but can't force healing. I try to find the modality that will work best for that particular case and generally stick to it.

After a couple of seasons away from coaching football, I'm really looking forward to starting the season as @WimborneTownFC U18's coach. I'll still be maintaining private Sports Therapy practice, just hanging up the run on bag for this season at least ⚽👍

Now the dust has settled I wanted to say what a season this was. Shaky start to amazing winning runs, The foundations are well and truly in place to go one better next season. Been an absolute pleasure Taping, massaging and treating these boys. UTR💚

And once again tonight another ref who stands around for 3 minutes before calling me on to treat a player 😡 Apparently he was assessing the player by just looking at him if he needed any treatment. How about you ref the game and I'll assess a players injury👍
