Your expertise × zero visibility = $0 Average expertise × high visibility = $$$ Stop perfecting in private. Start teaching in public.
Why YouTube converts better than LinkedIn posts: Someone can fake expertise in 280 characters. You can't fake 20 minutes of teaching something valuable. Depth builds trust. Trust builds business.
Stop trying to go viral. Start trying to solve problems. Viral gets views. Solving problems gets customers. I'd rather have 1000 views from my target audience than 100K from random scrollers.
Would you rather have 100K subs making $0 or 1K subs making $10K/month?
Your YouTube titles aren't competing with other creators. They're competing with Netflix, TikTok, and whatever else your audience could be doing right now. Write for attention, not algorithms.

weird thing about building a business: you become a different person every 6 months the version of me that started at 0 wouldn't recognize the version hitting 8k growth literally changes your identity, not just your bank account
unpopular opinion: most "work-life balance" advice comes from people who've never built anything meaningful when you love what you're creating, the boundaries don't matter as much some dreams require seasons of imbalance
been working 12-hour days for weeks and people think I'm crazy but here's the thing... when you're building something that's actually yours, the lines between work and play start to blur some seasons require intensity
your competition isn't other businesses your competition is the version of yourself that gives up when things get hard every day you choose: level up or stay the same the market will reward whichever version you become
YouTube algorithm reality check: it doesn't care about your subscriber count it cares about how long people actually watch your videos 1 video with 80% retention beats 10 videos with 20% retention every time optimize for watchtime, not vanity metrics
the hardest part of building anything isn't the technical stuff it's sitting alone with your thoughts and not convincing yourself you're delusional
this eliminates competition in its traditional form there's only one you there's only one version of your story there's only one way you solve problems with AI here, it's no longer your product. it's your humanity.
