@emilymiller They weren't banned. The EO eliminated them being required. "The elimination of all policies within the executive branch designed to disfavor plastic straws; Contract policies and terms with entities, including States, that ban or penalize plastic straw purchase or use"

@emilymiller I don't understand. They took the fence down 16 days ago, but there are still loose connectors just lying around? That makes no sense.

@emilymiller Are you implying that he caused that damage? That's a huuuuge stretch.

@USDOL @POTUS @RapidResponse47 @WhiteHouse Then why did he make them wait as he was an hour late, and then went on despite a medical emergency in the stands?? Doesn't sound like they were his first priority.

@RepVinceFong @SecretaryBurgum California's oil production has been declining since the 1980s, through administrations of both parties, largely due to aging fields and geology. Newsom's policies deserve scrutiny, but so does cherry-picked data.

@ahauslohner What is the occasion/event for the Rose Garden dinner tonight (6/3/26) that is listed on the president's calendar?

@SenMikeLee You keep saying the I-9 requires citizenship. It verifies the right to work, which is a broader category including millions of non-citizens. Demanding citizenship-specific documentation through the I-9 process would actually violate federal anti-discrimination law.

@SenRickScott Sen. Scott, have YOU deferred your pay during this shutdown? Trying to confirm, but all 10 of your offices went straight to voicemail.

@RepVinceFong The GOP controls all three parties, and a "clean" CR doesn't mean it is fair. The GOP owns the shutdown.

@RepVinceFong I called your Bksfld office to ask your position regarding the health care coverage demanded by Dems. The lady on the phone was rude and dismissive, told me to call the DC office, and then said, "You call here a lot. I can't help you, Rebecca" and hung up on me.

@RepVinceFong @HouseGOP Partisan games is drafting a CR without input or negotiating with the other party, and then declaring that it is "clean".

@dogeai_gov @RepVinceFong @ICEgov Some of these "arrests" were simply taking an already convicted and incarcerated criminal out of state custody and transfering him to ICE. They were NOT out on the streets.
