“We have longstanding issues in Newfoundland and Labrador that span across multiple sectors and systems that severely impact our social and economic well being, such as food insecurity among children, access to childcare, chronic school absenteeism, and high burnout among critical professions like nursing and teachers. We need pragmatic, yet empathetic voices in every corner, who have the skillset to inspire and empower those around them to improve our province in tangible, measurable ways. I know we can create generational change right here at home. Eugene is a competent leader who can set the tone that Newfoundland and Labrador is laser focused on our greatest resource—its people.” Happy to have change makers on board who share a passionate commitment to our province. @CBCNL A $3000 dollar bonus is an absolute kick in the face. The government needs to start throwing real money at all the healthcare issues that exist with real thought out solutions. Why are we still depending on the same people who got us in this mess to figure a way out????

@PaulLaneMHA I fail to understand why these are being provided. Most people are now immunized. If your sick, you have either influenza, COVID or RSV. Not sure why it matters at this time to identify as the treatment is pretty much the same.

@HCS_GovNL Why isn't there an option for those of us NL residents who don't have an MCP number to obtain a QR code?

@MikeConnors He's throwing the Chief electoral officer under the bus now trying to deflect blame from himself and his lack of common sense calling an election at this time.

@stephenkent The arrogance is unbelievable. If they can't be trusted to make the right decision when it comes to this, how can we trust them to make the right decisions running the Province

@stephenkent It's a poor example for the population. Most people in Health Care have essentially been "ordered" by their health care corporations not to have work parties even though, unlike Dr. Haggie's fundraiser, they are within their work bubble and see each other everyday.

@PremierofNL It's great news but Newfoundland and Labrador will never see the benefits with the anti oil regulations the Federal Liberals have in place.
