NSAIDS are more dangerous to your health, & more likely to cause death, than #opioids. NSAIDS: Aspirin (Bayer, Bufferin, Excedrin), Ibuprofen (Advil, Motrin IB), Naproxen (Aleve). Google for the facts. #opioidcrisis x.com/ravensspirit68…
The 45 per day NSIAD deaths stat also does not include the new deaths being attributed to sudden heart attacks in those over 40, particularly women, who use OTC NSAIDS for pain control. Now that safer & more effective meds are off the table, that number will likely double. 🤔
Seriously though. In YESTERDAY'S latest OPIOID STEERING COMMITTEE mtg. It was stated at the end that about 40 deaths per day are now attributed to opioids. Actually LESS than NSAID deaths per day! WHY THE HYPERFOCUS/HYSTERIA re: opioids then? Inquiring minds want to know damn it!
