Just because she’s a woman doesn’t mean this is “fixed”. She has some real questions to answer regarding the legal filing when she was VP. As does the board, athletes council, etc. regarding the entire process because that has to be examined, revamped and changed. It didn’t work.

To push for change, I ran for president in an election that I knew I could never win and saw the buddy system being nourished through the media, the players, and everyone, including you, who had something to gain from being in USSF’s good graces.

Yes @JulieFoudy, many of the problems came from the Federation…but responsibility also sits with those who allowed this treatment for so long. The way to force USSF to be accountable was not by having secret meetings, but by actually fighting for our rights.

This is fantastic. Except that I didn’t vote nor have I ever sat on Athletes council. Don’t belittle the great work these players do on that council either. It’s not on their backs. And stop saying it is. Point the finger where it should be pointed. At US Soccer. Good god.

Be part of the solution, not part of the problem @JulieFoudy. Elections matter. This was always the future when you voted to elect @CACSoccer and maintain the status quo in the 2018 USSF Election. It should be harder to feign anger when you’ve done US Soccer’s backroom bidding.
