We've had so many rounds of rain lately that you can hear the grass growing in some spots. There are windows to get it mowed but the times when it will be soggiest are: Wednesday PM hours Thursday morning Saturday morning
With rain and storm potential in the forecast this afternoon through Thursday morning, we could easily see some 1-2" rain totals. Models differ a bit but they all show that potential in the streaks produced by the random storm placement.

FIRST ALERT to the potential for a few stronger storms late this evening and overnight. Hail & wind potential from a storm or two could prompt a warning. Overall the greatest risk are is south and west of Lincoln.
We'll start the day quiet but showers and storms are likely to pop up on the map during the afternoon hours. On and off rounds are likely into the evening and overnight too with a very isolated strong storm possible overnight.

The Tornado Watch has been CLEARED for the entire Omaha metro, eastern Nebraska, and western Iowa. The watch continues for far southeast Nebraska and southwest Iowa, but the storm threat is quickly pushing east of Atlantic, Red Oak, and Rock Port.
