Yep, temps at 30k ft are -35C and the relative humidity is high up there. Perfect way to get condensation to make clouds and all those other high clouds. The high clouds keep moving in tonight too.

FIRST ALERT to that summer feel that keeps hanging on. We try to cool into the mid 70s by the middle of next week but that's about it. Average high is 74 today & falls to around 70 at the end of the forecast. Every single day warms above average. Next chance of rain is Sat night.

FIRST ALERT to highs that are 10-20 degrees above average all week. The warmest will likely be Friday at this point. Dew points thankfully stay fairly low so no big time humidity with this heat but fall is still nowhere to be found.

It appears that the north breeze is kicking up a bit Saturday and trying to cool us some and dry us out more. We adjusted the forecast downward a little bit. Still expecting mid 80s for Sunday with an uptick in the humidity that will be noticeable. Overall a warm weekend!

FIRST ALERT to temperatures still being very comfortable for that Bud Crawford parade downtown Saturday morning. Some models are showing an uptick in the north wind right during it though. Gusts to 25-30 mph are possible late morning before backing off.

FIRST ALERT to that summer feel staying with us. 50s quickly climb to near 80 by noon and stay in the 80s all afternoon. That happens with a light wind and a low dew points. Comfortable but a little warm for this time of year.

Average first FROST in the area is usually the last week in Sept or first week in Oct. That will not be the case this year. Highs and lows in the forecast are about 10 degrees above average well into October the way it looks now.
