Congratulations to Sean Duffy for his nomination as Secretary of Transportation. His Congressional experience will serve him well in a time of great challenges in meeting future transportation needs. I encourage him to support the resurgence in passenger rail in the U.S.

So happy to be back on Standard Time. It's time to end this silly, unhealthy clock changing and make Standard Time permanent. DST is out of sync with our planetary cycle, and causes heart and other health issues & kids should not be going to school in the dark. End DST Congress.

The IRS has a 20 million backlog of unprocessed tax returns. They should be hiring more folks to process our returns, not 87,000 agents to make sure restaurant workers are properly documenting tips!

One of the few legitimate straw polls (no buying votes with tickets) in our Congressional District 7 race was held today at the lunch debate with the Suburban Republican Women's Club in Seminole County. Of 7 candidates debating, Rusty Roberts placed 2nd. I'll take that.

Speaker Pelosi’s feeble response to questions about her husband’s stock trades are laughable. I’m sure she never mentioned to him the upcoming vote to give a huge subsidy to the semiconductor industry. Appearances matter. A huge loophole in the law.
