Major cheat code for life: Believe things will work out. Then work relentlessly to make that belief true. You don't need certainty. You need enough belief to keep moving through uncertainty.

No more waiting: 1. Wake up at 5:00am 2. Workout 4x this week 3. Eat eggs, steak, and fruit 4. Read a chapter of scripture daily 5. Pray for your family daily 6. Go to bed before 10pm 7. Revisit your budget for clarity 8. Pay $25 extra to a debt 9. Put your phone away by 9:30pm 10. Put your phone away daily for 1 hour 11. Hug your kids like you mean it 12. Hug your wife like you mean it 13. Text a friend to check in Bookmark this. Be who you were created to be.

Things that 10x'ed the quality of my sleep: - No alcohol - Mouth tape - Sun exposure - Rock climbing - Strength training - 7-10k steps a day - Bluelight blockers - Same sleep and wake times - Eating my final meal at 6pm or earlier - Chamomile tea, 10g glycine & electrolytes What about you?

A reminder from Atomic Habits by James Clear: “When you fall in love with the process rather than the product, you don't have to wait to give yourself permission to be happy. You can be satisfied anytime your system is running.”

Repentance is an opportunity to smash the idols that keep us from fully glorifying God. The purpose of our life then shifts away from my own happiness to God's glory. But the irony is that in pursuing His glory, we find the happiness we always desired. Why? Repentance is an act of choosing to treasure God above all. And if God is that treasure, then we experience what David did in Psalm 16: “You make known to me the path of life; you will fill me with joy in your presence, with eternal pleasures at your right hand.”

3 month challenge until the end of 2026: - No alcohol - Lift 3x a week - Walk 8k steps/day - Journal once a day - Replace social media for reading - 15 minutes of morning sunlight every day - Set a goal and do one thing every day to achieve it Lock in for 3 months and hit the ground running by 2027.

YOUR GYM TRAINER WON'T TELL YOU THIS: - If you're doing 10-12 reps, increase the weight until you can only do 5-8 reps. - Keep that weight until you can perform 10-12 reps again. - Then increase the weight & repeat. - This is progressive overload.

The heavier you lift, the more muscle you build. The more muscle you build, the more calories you burn at rest. The more calories you burn at rest, the more you can eat without storing fat. The more you can eat without storing fat, the more energy you have every day. The more energy you have every day, the heavier you can lift. The heavier you lift, the more muscle you build. Remember this loop.

“The man, the more he studies, the simpler he becomes, because as he studies he discovers the greatness of his ignorance.” —Aristotle

Read more books. Read to escape reality. Read to understand reality. Read to challenge what you believe. Read to think better. Read to write better. Read to argue better. Read to know yourself. Read to build something. A single book can completely rewire your brain.

Successful people start with two core beliefs: the future can be better than the present, and I have the power to make it so.

Winning isn't what makes you feel good. Growth makes you feel good. Sometimes they are the same thing. When you achieve something for the first time, it's growth. You've reached a new level. The win feels satisfying. But when you do it for the tenth time (or the hundredth time), it can feel stale. You're still winning, but you're not necessarily growing. The secret is not to worry about winning, but rather to focus on growing. And the most straightforward way to grow is to learn something. If you're ever feeling stuck, go learn something new. Read, write, think, learn, repeat. When you're learning, you're growing.

Drones recreate the Twin Towers, with 2,977 lights, one for every soul lost on 9/11/2001. What a profound and fitting memorial.

Roy Keane: "Messi didn't deserve to be in the Ballon Dor top 30. A lot of people will say he had a better World Cup than Ronaldo, but scoring against Algeria, Jordan, Egypt is no big feat. Ronaldo would have done the same with those fixtures. And if u compare both vs Spain, Ronaldo had a better game."

@CoachDanGo They probably don’t have young children to get that consistent 8 hours.

@JeffDonLeh @Mariners 🤯

i'm in love with this quote: "if you're persistent, you'll get it. if you're consistent, you'll keep it. and if you're grateful, you'll attract more of it."
