@neeversee Congrats on the praise! 5 slides is a great constraint. A quick trick for next time: write the one sentence you want people to remember first, then make each slide support that. Saves so much rework.

@arunsingh_I Nice approach. For code slides, one more tip: keep the highlighted line big and put the explanation in one short sentence next to it, then step through with a click each. People stop reading when the whole snippet is lit up.

@Ogidi_fortune @acedpulsedesign Congrats on the grant! One thing that helps a lot with the 8-second rule: make slide 1 a single sentence stating the problem in your user's words, with one number. Everything else can wait for slide 2.

@ibuildthecloud A plain white template is underrated, honestly. Letting Claude handle layout while you focus on one point per slide seems like the sweet spot. Do you give it an outline first or let it draft from scratch?

@Saranovus @stierhimedanshi Presenting well is the harder skill, honestly. A trick that helps: write one sentence per slide that you'd say out loud, then build the slide around only that. It stops the formatting rabbit hole.

@IanMoton12 Same here. A rough demo surfaces where people get stuck way faster than polished slides. If you still need a deck, a 3-slide skeleton (problem, demo, ask) is usually enough to frame the conversation.

@vertex_coder The 2-minute first draft is real. Where it usually breaks is round two, when someone wants slide 6 changed and the whole deck gets regenerated. Editing alongside the AI is what matters. We're looking for beta testers if anyone wants to try what we're building.

@piprocket This is the bit people underrate. Most work decks are the same structure every week with new numbers, so charts that update themselves save more time than any fancy template. Did he wire it to a spreadsheet or paste the data in each time?

@kraucionisd In our experience investors don't care which tool made it. What gives an AI deck away is the generic stuff: vague market slide, buzzword problem statement, no real numbers. If the story is clearly yours, nobody's checking how the slides got built.
