@SmithMatthewC Yeah, no retroactivity for 2023 at this point please. Today is the deadline for filing for God's sake. Work on getting 2024 right.
@SmithMatthewC It’s just ridiculous. I of course extended the ones impacted by this - but now the partners and management are needing to make a decision on 164(j) issues and move forward. We can elect out of bonus on a couple and out of 163(j) on another but may eventually have been unneeded.
@SmithMatthewC I joked that we would know when this bill will pass after the congressional leaders get their April 15 tax estimates. So my prediction is for a late April or early May passage.
