Many of us talk about staff wellbeing, but I'm getting to an age when I'm having to confront the idea that the job might now be killing us. We need to bring in a process for reviewing staff deaths similar to SI investigations, educate ourselves, and change our working conditions.

Being a doctor is weird as you are held to infinitely high standards by everyone but also expected to play down that your job is high responsibility & intellectually tiring at times & have to act like any old rando could do your easy job so people don't think you're "superior"

The PM says consultants and SAS doctors have settled their pay disputes. This is incorrect. We’ve put the Government’s offer to our members and they’ll now decide. We’re deeply disappointed the Government hasn’t made a credible offer we can also put to junior doctors.
