Part of my homelessness strategy includes addressing the serious mental health crisis we see across L.A. With my proposed budget, we are including mental health and substance abuse beds in City purchases of motels and hotels — to house more people with the resources they need.

The next step with Inside Safe is all about moving Angelenos out of motels and into housing. Thank you to the service providers at @StJosephCtr for helping folks with their housing applications today. Angelenos are coming home.
Honored to request and secure $898,053 in federal funding for the @StJosephCtr in Venice. The funding supports their Purpose Lab Employment Project, which provides job skills training and supportive services to those experiencing or at-risk of homelessness.
