Something you learn rather quickly when hiring employees: A lot of people simple are incapable of working well with others. Oil and water right off the bat. If there’s a dispute within a few weeks of bringing a guy on, it will just continue to be an issue indefinitely.
Everybody talks about raising prices. Nobody talks about how improving production efficiency. Turn an 8 hour job into a 6 hour job and you don’t need to increase your rates. Do both, certainly. But the answer isn’t always “charge more”.
