Year 11 - the usual mix of "I don't care" and panic when given the schedule for the year. Remember people, they all care, they all know that their future (to a certain extent) depends on this year. They are still children.

About to start my 33rd year as a teacher. Part time now and wondering when the axe will fall. I'm by far the oldest in the school and very expensive!!!!!
This year marks the start of my 34th year in secondary. 7 years in my current school. I'm part time. Why, then, is there a sense of impending doom?
Finally reached the end of term. I'm beyond done. Can no longer concentrate, struggling to retain information - and most of my colleagues feel the same. The children are even more tired - 5 different lessons a day. What can we do to help? I know - lets make the holidays shorter!!
