Possibilities: 1) McCabe out bc of what’s in that GOP memo, which will likely become public soon. 2) McCabe out bc of what’s in the nonpartisan DOJ Inspector General’s forthcoming report. 3) This was ~the earliest date McCabe could have left & kept full retirement benefits.
