I hate browsing web pages. The fact that AI can do this for me have completely eliminated the use of the browser for me. Browsing a page is easily ten clicks just to handle cookies, then there are popups about newsletters, ads etc.

Looking up what kind of airplane I will have on the two upcoming flights. First leg is an A20N… notice the registration number. Checking the second leg.. isn’t that the same registration number? Yes it is.. and I’ll have the very same seat on both legs. Still nice w/the break :)

Got a surprise today that the upgrade of EF 8 -> EF 9 actually had some breaking changes in it, not just .NET 9 compatibility. gist.github.com/TimNilimaa/25d… on something as simple as where query. @dotnet

Yearly audit of the IT systems at work. Yearly reminder from me to the auditors that having a maximum password length is a bad idea. But last year they admitted that changing password for all end users every 3 months is a bad idea.

The “smartest in the room” idea makes it seem like being “smart” is one dimensional. Teams are made up of people with lots of different skill sets at varying levels. You should leave the room if you’re not learning or growing in ways that you want.
