@SireedaMiller Were you living under a rock from 2000-2020? Biden was never the leader or standard bearer of any coalition. If he weren't Obama's VP, he probably can't win the primary in 2020, and might not have made it to Iowa.

As you hit the stores for your Christmas returns keep this in mind. Very rarely does someone create a perfect video. This is one. (I haven’t laughed this hard in a long time) x.com/SKTheKingYT/st…

@AechErvin The whole country moved 3% right. Even in Michigan, there aren't 3% of the voters whose vote was changed by Biden's policy decisions re Israel. Whatever caused Dem loss wasn't just some set of single issue voters. Pretending otherwise isn't the path to winning future elections.

THREAD. There is a group of reporters at the New York Times who are intent on peddling copaganda whatever the consequences. The paper's Christmas Day crime article was one for the ages. It's a smorgasbord of propaganda tactics that I've covered, with some amusing new flourishes.

@VonTeckel In other words, US and IJN national security interests were in conflict far before Pearl.

@VonTeckel Things like the (morally and politically good) US oil embargo of Japan were absolutely targeted at IJN security interests. For Japan, it was essentially surrender now or roll the dice on removing US from Pacific. Very similar to US shooting at Uboats before Pearl.

@ceneblock_MI It depends a lot on the type of business - if one is providing professional services, the corporate firm does basically nothing about your largest liability exposure.

@RIOldFolksHome You are reading very charitably. You are completely right, assuming the LLC provides professional services. But if the LLC were a corner store, the business and the owner aren't alter egos in practice.

@RobertoRod631 That's a bizarre view of his current positions. He's never been even vaguely pro-woke (even assuming that labels means anything).

@Thunder92674430 @millennialergy That's not an apology. I'm not sure it's even saying he was wrong before.

@Thunder92674430 @millennialergy "I'm less edgy" isn't a change in position or an apology. He wants the same policies he wanted then.

@Thunder92674430 @millennialergy Me too, except for those things I've vocally and repeatedly said I'm not. Hanania has done zero to show he's changed. It's not the sort of thing one assumes from the passage of time.

The fact that Sesame Workshop is having to do a full court press fundraising effort because we as a country don’t understand the concept of doing things for the public good combined with David Zaslav being the poster child for why CEOs are worthless is making my blood boil.

@eschensam If he means BLM specifically, that seems false since modern (antebellum South) racial chattel slavery isn't firmly established in Anglo tradition yet. To extent he means push &pull btw progressives &reactionaries, mediated by technology &elite interests, that's also mainstream.

@eschensam In sense that the Enlightenment traces back to Reformation, doesn't everyone who understands history (and also Moldbug) think this?

@JewishLives23 @SER1897 This discussion is more about what sets Dems up best in 16, 20, 24. I don't have strong or particularly relevant feelings about Obama v HRC skill in governing from 2008-2016.

@SER1897 If nothing to be done in 2008 primary to set up for 2016, we're just fucked. Not sure if that's Dem establishment fault vs fault of demographics (hard to 3peat presidency) & inherent political momentum of conservative ideology (giving us Trump vs Rubio, Walker, Kasich etc).

@SER1897 @JewishLives23 In 2008, a wrinkled McDonald's wrapper wins presidency if D's nominate. W had lost GOP the election basically before race began between Iraq (eventual) unpopularity and 2007-08 finance crisis.

@GingerSnappiest He said "coming passage of the law." What got stripped out was an extension of an existing thing that would have spent more money to research pediatric cancer. You are the one misunderstanding, in ways that suggest either deliberate lying or total lack of fluency in English.
