Last night my return flight on @SouthwestAir was delayed. While waiting I heard this from the SW staff over the PA,”We are looking for 19 bag heroes for our Oakland flight.” The carryon you declined to check in could be checked free of charge and you can become a “bag hero”.

I will NEVER fly @British_Airways ever again. Absolute WORST Airline EVER. They have left me stranded in Seattle with my elderly, injured father who is in a wheelchair and needs medical care. Our @British_Airways flight in from London was 1 hour delayed. Because my dad is in a wheelchair, he needs assistance off the plane and through the airport, this means we were last off. We then had to get our luggage, go through passport control and customs and when we finally made it to the counter to drop our bags, we were told it was too late, we missed our flight. Many other passengers also missed their flight. But when I called British Airways to get us on the next flight out, they claimed since we had 1.5 hours to connect, they owed us nothing. 1.5 hours in a huge airport with wheelchair assistance needed and an elderly injured man who just got out of the hospital, and they are leaving us stranded telling us to fork over more money for a flight home. Oh and this is ON TOP of us being stranded in Heathrow for 8 hours on our flight TO London. The wheelchair assist was late, it took over 1 hour for us to get off the plane. Because of this, we missed our connecting flight. The next one was 8 hours later. I asked if they could at least put us in a lounge since my father is older and in a wheelchair. They refused. They gave us no compensation or refunds. I don't know how any of this is even legal.

Yesterday, Karoline Leavitt, Trump’s Press Secretary, when asked if Trump will accept the results of the 2026 election, refused to say yes. She refused to say whether Trump will accept the results of this year’s election. I’ve repeatedly called Donald Trump a traitor to this country and an enemy to this country. And I stand by that. Anyone who accepts election results only when they win, or only when their side wins, is in fact an enemy of our democracy. And they should be treated as such. And I know deep down you ALL know this. I know deep down you ALL believe it’s wrong to accept election results only when your side wins. But I also know that most of you who support Trump won’t say that publicly because you won’t criticize your dear leader. And that’s such a shame. Because like he did when he lost in 2020, again this year, if Republicans lose the House and/or the Senate, Trump will refuse to accept the results and, once again, he’ll scream “stolen election.” We all know that’s what he’s going to do. He’s already been signaling that that’s what he’s going to do. A democracy ends when a people refuses to accept the will of the people every two years, when a people refuses to accept the results of elections they lose. And btw, NONE of you raised your kids to be this way. NONE of you raised your kids to be sore losers. You ALL raised your kids to do their best, try as hard as they can, but if they lose the game or the match or the contest, they must accept the defeat graciously and congratulate the winning team. That’s how you were raised, and that’s how you raised your kids. Donald Trump is the antithesis of that. In fact, you raised your kids to be the opposite of Trump. Have a nice weekend.
