@AptTherapy @Airbnb 4 weeks with @aribnb support, I finally got through.. Support asked me for evidence of the apartment being 300m away from pinpoint, I provided them with this. Suddenly they turned around again and won't give me a refund which clearly is within their travel policy of wrong adress!
@Earl_GreyT @AirbnbHelp I was probably within a circle that I find very misleading and potentially exploitable for dishonest hosts. We all know about areas in cities we are familiar with where there can be a significant difference within a 1 km distance.
@Earl_GreyT @AirbnbHelp Unfortunately, I don't expect to receive a sensible answer, but I hope this will contribute to making people more aware of how Airbnb operates. There are other rental options out there, and if this is the way they treat people, they will eventually lose credibility and customers.
@Earl_GreyT @AirbnbHelp Hi, this was the initial location shown when selecting the apartment. Upon confirmation, we received the "correct" address in a completely different area, including municipal housing.
@AirbnbHelp I will send you a DM,but I would very much like you to answer my question regarding your travel issues of wrong adress here in public since this perticular question seems to be avoided everywhere. Do you stand for that this differance in location is within your policy, yes or no?
@AirbnbHelp I've created two images from my feedback that I hope people take the time to read. My partner, her friend, and their two infants have been exploited by the host and shown no understanding by Airbnb after. Hope to raise the awareness of AirBnB contradicting their own guidelines
