Yeah I can’t make any excuses for him with this sort of acceptance man, you should know this is not good enough at all, or maybe he does and doesn’t want to speak out I’m not sure what’s worse

🚨 Michael Carrick: “The perspective is important and football can change”. “We've had a spell where we haven't won some football games, all right?”. “Correct me if I'm wrong, are we four points off the top four or something?”.

Whilst I love the fact he’s had the balls to call out the board, if we’re talking about how the squad needs improving, based on his performances so far this season, he’s actually someone we’d need to replace, and that points to a bigger problem we have with egos🤷‍♂️

I fucking hate this, not only because it’s spot on, but because it’s also everything the fans are saying week in week out. No intensity, no desire, but Carrick still talking about the “positives” to take, for me there was none

Yeah he’s actually shocking tbf, stiff as fuck, dawdles on the ball and can’t cover any ground, he’s become a big gaping hole in that midfield and we were 10x better when Baleba came on

Youri Tielemans was far too slow on and off the ball vs Tottenham! Casemiro at 34 was much quicker than him! How can you be this slow? Needs to get running!

Look how easy it is to get to our 18 yard box, with no pressure on the ball at all, I’ve said it for ages, these players are good enough but the fitness levels are fucking shocking

Everyone buys the kit. Nobody buys the songs. The new Manchester City Sound Book puts eight chants at the press of a button, re-recorded for kids with the lyrics on every page. They'll know every word before they can read them 🩵 Officially licensed by Manchester City.

Stuff like this really separates who actually has ball knowledge. All you need to do is see from the touch that he doesn’t even look at the ball and knows instantly to roll the defender because he knows exactly where the ball is going, just pure genius.
