Today is the day Judge Brett Kavanaugh is set to become Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh. At this point, senators are expected to pass his nomination, 51-49. If the 60 vote threshold for justices were not changed last year, Kavanaugh wouldn’t be able to sit on the court.
