I’ve never seen a red wolf in the wild and I fear I never will. Despite the species’ incredibly endangered status (about 35 left in the wild) federal wildlife managers are letting them slip into oblivion. There oughta be a law. And actually, there is. fayobserver.com/opinion/201903…

Think the water coming out of your tap is clean and safe? Don’t be so sure, at least if it’s coming from anywhere in the Cape Fear River basin, which extends into the Piedmont region. There’s some bad stuff flowing in that river. fayobserver.com/opinion/201901…
