Moving makes one spend waaay to much time on the internet not getting done the things one needs to do
Have spent over half an hour searching the Bank of America site, looking for how to set up autopay. Can find lots of info about how helpful it is, but not the site to do it! "Contact us" only gives a phone number. I need chat! I need a break! My wife is making me take a break.
Just moved to different continent, 8 hour time shift. Wasn’t sleeping in prep, woke up this morning at a time that didn’t make sense in either time zone. I follow Twitter a bit, but no band width to reply. I’ll be back. Return to stability is job #1. I’ll be back @BipolarClubDx

People who’ve experienced bad treatment need to be allowed to discuss & process that without being drawn into total anti-psychiatry where hopes of finding good treatment disappear.
“Why do bad things happen to good people?” is a question that no religion, philosophy, scientist, or scholar has been able to satisfactorily answer, and I think it’s okay to admit we’re all in that same boat together.
@TEStoneWrites As a queer Jew myself, I tend to confront homophobia within the Orthodox community by invoking the fact that I would’ve been murdered for either reason during the Holocaust, and that they should really reconsider the position of “Create zero space for queer people to exist.”
When I organize my meds for the week, I feel such a surge of satisfaction that I'll often give the plastic container a happy little pat.
"ADHD medication can cause heart issues". Yeah, and paracetamol can cause liver failure. Ibuprofen can cause stomach ulcers. Laxatives can cause kidney failure and heart issues. Every medication can have severe side-effects. That doesn't make it an inherently "bad" medication.
My morning dilemma: I don't feel quite right, and the med increase I recently made does bring the possibility of fairly serious side effects. I'm seeing Dr. next week, but I am concerned that if I read the pamphlet, I'll automatically have every single symptom.
My job is basically giving away condoms and narcane at events. A worthy cause.

@BipolarRecorder I don’t understand how being pro-psychiatry automatically means not supporting critical thinking about quality of care. That makes no sense. Also, I’ve been involuntarily commuted three times in the past year, I’m pro-psychiatry, and I encourage everyone to do their research. 1/

@cbucksrules Any one person saying that they speak in absolute authority for an entire demographic is wrong. The human experience doesn’t work that way.
Do some people really think when I see my psychiatrist it's all him going, "Hi bipolar Lisa. How's your disorder today? Let's check how you match with the DSM definition. Do you need another med for your dysfunction?" Cuz it seems so, the way they prattle on about pathologizing.
I like that we don't know what Paul's thorn was, which invites us to read our own struggles into his stories. That being said! 2nd Corinthians absolutely reads like an ADHD rant! Paul clearly knows his own absurdity, and plays with it.

Used to be when I tweet something that resonates with a ton of people and I get one or two people who feel threatened by it and they say mean shit to me, I'd focus on the mean shit no matter how many people said it helped them. Now I just chuckle and block.
