I do not think I've ever been as angry with a politician, including Keir Starmer, as I am now with Ed Davey. Parade your disabled son all across the media, and appeal to disabled people and carers, just to kick them when they're already suffering a media onslaught? DESPICABLE.

I know we moan a lot about inaccessibility but I genuinely cannot fault @TUIUK for how good they were and how respectfully they handled my chair. I watched both times from the plane window as they unloaded it and they handled it so well .

When I said I used #PIP to pay for a cleaner, I received abuse. I was told to move house, to move into a group home, I even received death threats. Nothing disabled people do is ever "right".

I'm so fucking angry & wrenched about this for so many reasons but I'm only going to say this: There's a lot we don't know about this, but even institutionalized living settings made for disabled people lack adequate & efficient emergency evacuation plans for disabled people.

No, it's not 'fine' to use the r-slur if you're autistic. 1) the history of the r-slurs is a LOT more complicated than that and has mostly hurt people with intellectual disabilities. 2) if you're using it as an insult then that's literally the opposite of reclaiming a slur.

Another "spread the word" and repost moment. Four weeks ago, I sent a Freedom of Information request to the DWP to determine which disabled organisations and charities they consulted about the proposed changes to eligibility rules for #PIP. Their reply this evening tells us that…
