I wonder the threshold of students for which we decide in-person is no longer financially viable. I’ve had 5 of my 30 returning students decide to do virtual only. That would mean 25 / 109 students (~ 23%). I assume that trend isn’t unique to me.

Got a 2.4 GPA my first semester in college. Thought maybe I wasn’t cut out for engineering. Today I’ve landed two spacecraft on Mars, and am now designing one for the Moon. STEM is hard for everyone. Grades ultimately aren’t what matter. Curiosity and perseverance matter.

@heymrsbond They want us to do our jobs? let's do them. Take your work email off your phone. Turn your notifications off at 3:15 (or whatever your time is). Didn't get the grades done? They don't get done. We need a reckoning, and the sooner we do it together, the sooner it changes.
