The man seated next to me on the plane caught a glimpse of my screen and commented that he also likes war movies and it’s nice to see a fellow patriot. I didn’t have the heart to tell him that I was watching Tropic Thunder.

@TMZ @HollywoodLife Literally any distortion of Melania’s character would be a vast improvement over what has been on display for the American people. She should thank her ex-friend.

The same people screaming #SaveOurChildren are the same people against common sense gun laws designed to prevent events like school shootings. America is fucking dumb.

Can we also just take a solid moment to recognize the fact that this man literally just took up an entire two plus minutes to defend “law and order” and the need for enforcement, but cannot respect a rule of staying silent for literally 120 seconds? #PresidentialDebate2020

Can we all just a take another moment to reflect on the fact that this man preaches “law and order”, but could not follow general guidelines, put forth by his own administration, to wear a mask and maintain 6 ft between himself and others? #ThisIsAmerica

@phantomparades A cx called the cable company complaining that her cable box wasn’t working during a storm. After some probing, I realized she had actually lost power to her house and advised her to call her electric company first. She refused to believe me, so I just told her I fixed the cable.

Not many of us get to live to see our own legacy play out in such a meaningful, remarkable way. John Lewis did: medium.com/@BarackObama/m…

We have lost an American hero. John Lewis guided us toward a more righteous world. He marched in Selma, he marched on Washington—he marched for us all. His life's work shaped our history and his legacy inspires us to continue the march for racial equity and justice.

Minneapolis is grieving for a reason. To paraphrase Dr. King, the negative peace which is the absence of tension is no substitute for the positive peace which is the presence of justice. Justice is how we heal.

I love seeing the overwhelming support on social media, but this thing is about so much more than changing your profile picture. Make sure you speak like #BlackLivesMatter. Make sure you vote like #BlackLivesMatter. Make sure you live like #BlackLivesMatter.

Incredible scene at Colorado’s Capitol right now. Thousands of protesters are lying face down with their hands behind their backs chanting “I can’t breathe.” They’re doing this for 9 mins. #copolitics #denverprotest #GeorgeFloyd
