Das wirklich Krasse daran: Der Beweis wurde von einer Gruppe von KI-Agenten mithilfe eines noch unveröffentlichten OpenAI-Modells erarbeitet, das laut OpenAI deutlich leistungsfähiger als GPT-6 Astra sein soll. Bis zu 10.000 KI-Agenten arbeiteten parallel daran. Nach rund 88 Stunden, 2,7 Mio. Nachrichten und 130 Mrd. Output-Tokens entstand ein 165-seitiger Beweis, der zusätzlich formal mit Lean verifiziert wurde. Natürlich muss der Beweis jetzt noch unabhängig geprüft werden. Sollte er aber tatsächlich standhalten, wäre das ein gewaltiger Meilenstein: KI hätte nicht einfach bestehendes Wissen reproduziert, sondern möglicherweise eines der größten offenen Probleme der Mathematik gelöst und damit eigenständig neues Wissen geschaffen. Das könnte ein Vorgeschmack darauf sein, was uns mit den nächsten KI-Generationen erwartet. Ich bin mir noch nicht sicher ob es mehr cool, oder mehr gruselig ist..
